On a related note, several current WGH Raiders were in attendance at the Akron-Kent State game on 11/11/2025 at Infocision Stadium.

(l to r) Justice Dukes, Zay'vion Smith, Michael Wade, Matt Richardson, Asa Burch, James Jones, Ellis Daniels, and Elijah Phillips were all on the sideline at the University of Akron during their football game against Kent State on 11/11/2025.

During the trip, Akron extended scholarship offers to junior Zay'vion Smith and sophomore Asa Burch.

That news only got the ball rolling for Smith as later on that day, he received a scholarship offer from Dartmouth!

Meanwhile, Smith and senior Ellis Daniels both visted Michjigan State this pas Saturday during their home game against Big Ten rival Penn State.
